With this being Memorial Day weekend, for this Trader Joe’s haul, I’m sharing a few of my favorite finds that are quick, easy to make and oh-so-delicious. These are perfect for serving at your own party or bringing to someone else’s with a bottle of wine or 6-pack of beer (your host will appreciate the thoughtful gesture)! Turkey Meatballs
You guys, when I say these are an obsession, I mean it. Before my elimination diet, Ryan and I would eat these in some capacity at least 2-3 times a week. I’ve served these up as appetizers before and they’ve been a huge success. I think it’s the seasoning that makes them so spot on.
Serve with toothpicks on a serving platter, and if you’d like, with a variety of dipping sauces. I found this cute platter from Crate and Barrel that includes matching bowls. I Love the Mediterranean-influenced look – definitely a staple for summer entertaining.
Spinach Dips
My friend got me hooked on these two dips and oh-em- gee, am I glad she did! I wanted to see which dip people would like more so I bought these two and a pre-made dip from Whole Foods – the winner? Trader Joe’s by a long run.
Serve alongside whole grain crackers, cut up pretzel bread, veggies, or whatever you’d like. For an elevated look, pour the dip into a bread bowl. Just cut a hole in the center of sourdough or pretzel bread, scoop out some of the breading and fill that baby up!
Pastry Pups
Who doesn’t love pigs in a blanket? I’m the type of person that always wants both a hamburger and hotdog at BBQ’s and this is the best of both worlds!
Serve with toothpicks on a serving platter. I like this one to match the above set I shared, or this one for a more nautical theme (this simple white one is also cute and currently on sale!).
Cheese and Crackers
A classic go-to that you can’t go wrong with – cheese and crackers. I recently tried these whole grain crackers with the Creamy Toscano Cheese and Vault No5 Cave Aged Cheese from Trader Joe’s and it was like a party in my mouth.
Serve on a cheese platter like this one. If you’re heading to a friend’s, grab one of these and pair with a bottle of wine for the perfect guest gift!
