The Nordstrom Anniversary sale is now open to the public – happy FriYAY to us 😁 – and I’ve been so excited to share this best of the Nordstrom Anniversary sale round-up.
As I mentioned in my last post, when it comes to the #Nsale I typically look for investment pieces that I know will become by staples for the upcoming fall and winter season – think shoes, jackets and sweaters, of course! Not only have I curated the best of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale (to hopefully save you some time), I’ve also found some items that I’m keeping an eye on in hopes they’ll be restocked .
Drape Trench Coat: I’m going to Paris and London this fall and thought this coat would be perfect for strolling around and exploring. First, I LOVE the color. It’s a subtle, pale blue that I think will work with a lot of colors. One thing that surprised me was how heavy it is. From the pics online, I thought this was going to be a light jacket, but after trying it on, it’s actually much warmer than I anticipated. I’ll probably wear it into the winter season. It does run large, so if you’re in between sizes size down.
Black and rose gold booties: I wasn’t sure how I felt about these, but after trying them with a few outfits, I think I’m sold. I like how they create a more edgy look and can change the feel of an entire outfit from dressy to more casual. The one downer about these is they’re a little stiff, but I’m hoping they’ll break in a little after walking around.
Brown Booties: I can already tell that these booties are going to be worn quite a bite in the coming months. They’re comfortable, are the perfect height and a great color for fall wear. Also, unlike some booties with heels, this one has a silent heel so it doesn’t make any noise as you walk.
Cashmere vest: Warning, that this is a bit on the pricey side, but oh so cute and SO SOFT! Like honestly one of the softest, coziest things I’ve tried in a while. It’s definitely one of the best of the Nordstrom Anniversary sale. I don’t see this color on the website anymore, but I think the navy is a really great alternate and would be really pretty with the black booties above.
An alternate to the above vest is this BP cardigan (which I ended up ordering) that is only $31! It comes in plenty of colors, but I got the brown as I think it’s perfect for the fall season. Styling wise, I think wearing it with this striped tee and Brown booties would be super cute!
A few other items that are worth the spend:
Knee-high boots: I got these during last year’s sale and am so glad I did. I find myself wearing these a ton with long sleeve dresses and tights, or with black jeans/leggings and long cardigans. They are suede, so make sure not to wear them in the snow (or be careful if you do!).
Ted Baker Heels: So happy these are included in the sale!! I’ve talked about my love for Ted shoes in previous posts and they are truly worth every penny. I was guilty of buying shoes that were cheap and once my friends started getting married, I decided I was going to invest in white, beige and black heels. I’m so happy I did. These shoes are like walking on pillows.
Fleece: This was super popular last year and looks like it’s here to stay this winter and hey, I’m 100 percent here for it. Comfy, cozy sweaters all day please. This is one I’m keeping an eye on as unfortunately, it is out of stock in most colors.
Cross-body bag: This is a great Marc Jacobs dupe – it comes in a variety of pretty fall hues and is a great size (and price)!
