Do you guys celebrate Valentine’s Day, or Galentine’s Day? Ryan and I used to go to a fancy restaurant until about two years ago, when we traded in our fancy clothes for some sweats, movie and a heart-shaped pizza from Lou’s – and we’ve never looked back! Although, this year will be the first year we’ll have to find a dairy-free alternative. I sure am going to miss seeing that heart-shaped pizza, but maybe we’ll just make our own 😁.
For Galentine’s Day, which is on the 13th, my girlfriends and I are going to go to dinner and a movie! I think we’re going to go see Miss Bala – have you guys seen it yet? I wanted to host a Galentine’s Day brunch, but with hectic weekend and workday schedules it didn’t work out. I guess there’s always next year, right?! In the meantime, I’ll just fulfill my floral pink, red and purple tablescape vision on Pinterest 😊. If you’re hosting your special ladies, or have a Valentine’s Day party or date planned, here’s a fun and easy photo backdrop you can make!
Regardless of how you’re celebrating, I’m sharing four Valentine’s Day outfits that are perfect for any occasion (and some of my other favorite selections!). And if you’re not planning to celebrate (nothing wrong with that!), these outfits are still great transitional pieces from winter to spring because of the lighter color palettes!
Do you have any plans for Valentine’s or Galentine’s Day? Let me know what you’re up to!
Xoxo,
Jo
