Affordable Easter Tablescape Decor - The Hostess Notes

YOU GUYS! Guess what’s right around the corner?! Hint: My favorite holiday..Easter! I mentioned this in my previous post, but there’s just something about Easter that makes me SO happy. Everyone is more relaxed in comparison to every other holiday (at least in my family), there is arts and crafts time with Easter eggs, you get your exercise in during the egg hunt and then enjoy a hearty, delicious breakfast. Plus, the weather is beautiful and the house is filled with light, pastel colors and bunnies. I’m uh-bsessed.

I walked into TJMaxx the other day (my favorite place on earth and Ryan’s worst nightmare – he begrudgingly waited in the car, haha), and walked out with all the Easter things. Two sets of plates, a table runner, egg holders, teacups, napkins, ALL THE THINGS.

One thing that I popped into JoAnn Fabrics for is moss – I like incorporating it into my centerpiece for a fresh and natural look! I used it as a base here and laid the colorful eggs on top to really bring the colors out and give the table some life. To make this more of a statement, use a larger dish and spread the moss on top (you’ll need about 2-3 bags). Top with eggs, candles and a floral arrangement in the middle for the perfect spring tablescape.

Since we currently rent an apartment, our space is too small to hold an abundance of decor, but once we buy, you bet I’ll be walking out of the store with more than just two bags!

I took a peek online to see what goodies I could find for you guys in terms of Easter decor and was surprised by all the great pieces out right now – most of which are currently on sale! I rounded up some of my favorite picks from stores like Crate & Barrel, Pier One, TJMaxx (of course), Wayfair and Amazon, below!

What’s your favorite holiday? Are you celebrating Easter and if so, are you hosting?

Stay tuned for some more Easter posts over the next few days!

Jo
